In this print, a Victorian lady's portrait challenges the historical objectification of women by deliberately pixelating her face, denying viewers the traditional gaze that often reduced women to objects of beauty.
The pixelated face serves as a powerful metaphor, disrupting the ability to objectify and emphasizing the denial of access to the conventional features that were once the focus of male-centric Victorian art. This means there is a short allocation period, where Third Brush uses a mixture of random selection along with other criteria designed to achieve a broad and fair allocation of the work.
What is the Series Size?
Will I be charged Import duties for the piece and at what rate?
If your shipping address is outside of the UK, you will be responsible for any customs or import duties and local taxes that may be payable.
Where such duties or taxes are payable in respect of any works ordered, we do not collect and pay them on your behalf.
You are responsible for paying any amounts due directly to the applicable customs authority.
